Katie Price has slammed ‘fake’ reports that she sold two of her pet dogs on the internet after declaring bankruptcy.
The OnlyFans model, 45, was declared bankrupt in 2019 and is said to owe £3.2 million.
She avoided incarceration after repeated hearings over debt payback, the most recent of which was held online because the reality TV star was ‘petrified’ of being humiliated online.
Katie is said to have’sold two family pets’ on Freeads.co.uk for £2,000 apiece, including a chihuahua named Captain and a pomeranian/chihuahua mix named Batman.
Katie rushed to Instagram Stories to call the reports ‘bulls**t’ while petting her pets and writing ‘false news’ over the top of the video.
‘Here I am with my dogs,’ she said, panning the camera to show the small pooches as well as her son Jett, nine, who she shares with ex Kieran Hayler.
‘None of them have been sold…,’ she continued.
‘I haven’t done any advert, it must be a fake advert, I have all my dogs thank you very much.’
The actress has three more dogs, two chihuahuas named Buddy and Colin, and an Alsatian named Tank, whom she acquired after her security dog Blade was killed earlier this year.
Since 2017, seven of Katie’s prior dogs have perished while in her care, and the actress has pledged to safeguard her newest addition, Tank.
After Blade died in June, the star swore to ‘keep Tank safe’ after a petition was launched to prevent her from keeping any further animals.
The dog was killed by a car after escaping from the celebrity’s house in East Sussex and making his way onto the busy A24.
Blade died barely seven months after Sharon, the model’s second dog, was murdered on the same main route.
Her Alsatian Queenie was struck by a delivery vehicle the year before Sharon’s death, after being given to Katie as a birthday present by her ex Kieran Hayler.
Sparkle, another Alsatian, was slain on the A24 in 2020, and her French Bulldog Rolo was killed by a chair two months after.
