Katie Price’s new affair with MAFS actor JJ Slater has left everyone confused, but she has finally clarified the situation.
The former Playboy model is seldom far from controversy, and her current relationship has been no exception, as she stunned admirers with a kiss on the slopes with her ‘friend’.
Katie is used to high-profile romances, such as those with Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler, with whom she has children, as well as her acrimonious breakup from Carl Woods.
While the mother-of-five usually falls head over heels and screams her love from the rooftops, she has been somewhat reserved about sharing information with JJ, 31.
Katie has often denied dating the Married at First Sight candidate, but it appears that things are now ‘official’.
Not shying away on her podcast The Katie Price Show, her sister Sophie asked: ‘Kate, are you in a relationship? Because in some of our past episodes, you’ve said, you know, I’m not in a relationship with JJ, we’re just friends, and some of our listeners are calling you out on it, so, what’s your response?’
‘Calling me out or not, I wasn’t in a relationship. But this week we’ve gone official,’ responded the I’m A Celeb Star.
She continued: ‘We’re not a crystal ball I can’t say we’re in a relationship if we’re not, so we haven’t fooled anyone. From the time the last pod came out, things have changed, things change every day.
‘So yes, this week I can say, we are official.’
This revelation comes after a romantic skiing trip that sparked misunderstanding because the couple said they were pals.
Katie announced their romance on Instagram before attending a public function just days ago.
In the caption, she wrote: ‘They say things happen for a reason, the unexpected happened. Fate. Ticks every box.

The rapid affair appears to have begun in January with secret dinner meetings in Brighton, months after her highly public breakup with on/off boyfriend Carl, 35.
However, it is not all plain sailing; Katie stated that JJ has been mistaken for her nephew when they are out together because of their age difference.
Katie revealed: ‘Mind you, everyone has said today that he looked like my nephew.’
‘I’ve heard son before, never nephew… Nephew is quite funny, though, isn’t it?’, JJ joked.
On the podcast, Katie teased: ‘Maybe next week we’ll talk about how long we’ve been messaging and seeing each other. The thing is, with my life, I don’t have to tell everyone everything, especially when it comes to relationships.
‘I wasn’t even looking for a relationship, but yeah we can talk about that next week.’
