Katherine Ryan updated followers on her week after her past remarks directed at Russell Brand emerged.
The comedian has been in the headlines after allegedly calling Brand a ‘predator’ to his face in an unaired tape of their programme Roast Battle.
Several women, including one who was 16 at the time, have now accused him of rape, assault, and abuse.
Brand, 48, disputed the claims on his now-deactivated YouTube channel before the story surfaced in a Dispatches programme co-produced with The Times.
In light of the probe, previous clips of the Get Him to the Greek actor making improper comments resurfaced.
Ryan’s previous concerns about a high-profile comedian who was a ‘perpetrator of sexual assault’ arose again, with the idea that she was talking to Brand.
Ryan jokingly stated in her Instagram video that she had been enjoying a “very relaxed week” and “laying low.”
‘Not a lot going on, incredibly discreet, quiet week of being inundated with images of myself taken before I had kids,’ the 40-year-old said.
Katherine and her boyfriend have had two children in the last two years, and she also has Violet, 13, from a prior relationship.
She had shown off small tufts on the crown of her head in an update on her hair following the pregnancy.
The Duchess of Cambridge made her first public appearance since her revealed comments, attending a charity event on Tuesday night.
Her words to Brand on Roast Battle are said to have made him ‘furious,’ and he did not return for a second season.
Ryan revealed an anonymous ‘predator’ recognised by comedians to be working in the profession in an interview with Louis Theroux.
She shared that she had called the comedian – assumed to be Brand – it to their face but called her discussion with the documentarian a ‘litigious minefield’.
‘I believe very strongly – many people believe very strongly – is an open secret, is a perpetrator of sexual assault,’ she shared with Theroux.
