Katherine Ryan opened out about the unwelcome male attention her 14-year-old daughter Violet receives when out and about.
The 40-year-old comic has three children: son Fred, two, and baby girl Fenna Grace, eight months, with her fiancé Bobby Kootstra, as well as teenaged Violet from a previous relationship.
This week, the Canadian-born actress revealed she was ‘p****d off’ over Violet and her 16-year-old cousin Lily’s recent vacation to London.
Katherine said they were’sexually harassed by mature males everywhere they went’.
She also described a troubling incident in which her daughter and niece were recorded using public transport.
Speaking on her Telling Everybody Everything podcast, Katherine began: ‘I’m pissed off this week because Violet and her cousin Lily have been out in London.
‘They’ve been out in the day; they’ve been out on the train just doing very wholesome activities. Shopping, going to a theme park, doing this and that. And everywhere they go, every day, they have been sexually harassed by grown men.’
She went on: ‘Violet is 14, her cousin is 16, but the 16-year-old doesn’t look 25. She looks 16, 17.
‘There’s no mistaking Violet’s age. She’s 14, she has braces on her teeth. Anyone looking at these girls, no one is mistaking them for being adult women.
‘Maybe someone might hope that Lily’s 18, nevertheless, you’re a sick freak and you shouldn’t be chatting to teenage girls the way you are.’
Katherine then told listeners: ‘I won’t go into all the incidents because I want to talk about Violet less and less publicly because I do think she’s entitled to privacy, but I’ll only tell you the bits she put on her own Snapchat because she’s posted that now, it’s for public consumption.’
‘There was a man in the middle of the day filming them on the underground. Just a man on his own who got his phone out and started filming these girls sat opposite them,’ the doting mum-of-three revealed.
Katherine’s shocking story comes weeks after her daughter Violet shared some hilarious words on her mum’s birthday.
In June, Katherine and Bobby enjoyed a night away from their kids at Claridge’s Hotel in London to mark the former’s 40th.

Posting photos of their night away, Katherine also revealed exactly what Violet said to her on her special day.
She captioned her post: ‘”You’re starting to die.” Thank you to my daughter, Violet for clarifying why I’m always tired and to my husband @bobby_k__ and @claridgeshotel for the most restful 40th birthday imaginable.’
Violet certainly doesn’t mince her words!
