Katherine Ryan is a true comedy queen.
But, when Prince Harry arrived in London to commemorate the death anniversary of his grandmother (the actual late Queen), the 40-year-old comedian made a humorous comment.
The Duchess of Cambridge recorded the little Prince giving a statement to the audience at the WellChild Awards last night.
Katherine didn’t just fawn over the monarch, but she went all out on him in a joke involving her spouse, Canadian childhood beau Bobby Kootstra.
The comic, who appeared to be far from listening to Harry’s insightful comments, could only think about how, um, odd it was to be in the same room with him – given that he is her ‘ex,’ of course.
Katherine captioned a brief video of her address on Instagram, ‘DEEPY weird having my current husband and ex in the same room.’
(Prince Harry and Katherine were never an item, just to clarify…)
Her steely-faced husband Bobby sat next to the Taskmaster star, and he mustn’t have minded his wife’s customary joke, because she tagged him in the article – you know, just to make sure he saw it.
WellChild is a nonprofit that helps children and young people with serious illnesses flourish.
The Duke of Sussex was there at the awards ceremony to witness WellChild Award winner Poppy show off her dance talents.
After that, Prince Harry went around the award winners, complimenting them on their varied accomplishments.
Danny Jones of McFly also attended the Hurlingham Club event, looking handsome in a blue suit and white low-neck shirt.
Katherine and Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle presented an award on stage together during the event, which was sponsored by GSK.
Katherine has previously joked about a sexual relationship with Prince Harry.
After making a few sexual comments in his direction, she jokingly joked that the LA-bound Prince probably had a restraining order against her.
Previously, she disclosed her birth name for him.
‘I used to call him the Duke of I Just Came Rich – not appropriate,’ she recalled in an interview with OK! Magazine.
