Congratulations look to be in order for Justin Long and Kate Bosworth.
Following the announcement of their engagement last month, it appears the Jeepers Creepers actor, 44, and the Barbarian actress, 40, have already married.
This comes after Jason fiddled with his wedding band in an Instagram video of the couple promoting their Amazon Live event.
The couple seemed to be inseparable in their engagement, which they announced after around a year of dating.
Now, it appears they are actually married, as the actor revealed to guest Kyra Sedgwick on his comedy podcast Life Is Short how he fell in love with his ‘now-wife’ while filming Barbarian together in Bulgaria.
‘I was there while I was like really falling in love with my now-wife,’ he said.
‘She came to visit, and I had never been comfortable with… set visits. I like to separate the relationship… But, yeah, I loved having her there and we just had the most magical time.’
He added: ‘It helped me having her there. She’d help me with scenes. It was the best.’
It’s unclear if that was a slip of the tongue or a confession that they’d already exchanged vows.
What is certain is that the couple is completely infatuated with one other.
‘These things are funny to announce,’ Kate penned on Instagram in a post confirming their engagement.
‘How to do this right? He’s going the distance? I’ve got a Blue Crush? He’s just THAT into me? I’ve won a date with…??? Ok you get it!
‘We thought it might be nice to share our joy in a conversation you all can listen to, on my future husband’s @lifeisshortpodcast. So if you would like to be in the room with us (sort of!) & hear our story, the link is in my bio.
‘If life is short, find the one who brings you endless peace and radical wonder. @justinlong I am so grateful it’s you.’
Justin also marked the moment on his Instagram, as he said: ‘I feel eternally grateful that I found a partner who makes each day SO full, whose mere presence IS a reminder of the beauty and brevity of life, and who makes me laugh from the minute we wake up til the one I begrudgingly fall asleep.
‘I cherish the days we’ve had and the ones to come.’ [sic]
The loved-up pair spilled the beans on the aforementioned podcast episode, revealing the beautiful narrative behind their engagement.
‘I did have a special thing planned around your [Kate’s] birthday and about a month before that, life – like we were talking about – things change, and sometimes they change pretty drastically without any warnings,’ Justin explained.
‘It was a moment where it just felt so organic and it felt connected to something very, very deeply, profoundly personal that we were going through, a real life change, and so it came out in a very organic way.’
‘We had just gone through this really hard thing, and we had spoken to a therapist,’ Kate continued, not going into the nitty gritty at this time.
‘We were trying to move through things at the time and she gave us a really great piece of advice which was: “Make sure that you’re pretty consistently asking the other what you need, or asking the other what they need”.
‘I remember waking up not so many mornings after that therapy session, and I looked at Justin, I smiled at you, and I said, “What do you need?” And he, like, really looked at me and he said, “To spend my life with you”.
‘And I smiled and I said, “Well, yeah, you have that. Oh my gosh, you have that”, and he said, “No, I mean I really want to spend my life with you”.
‘I thought it was the most romantic and honest and loving proposal.’
