Justin Bieber’s father has replied to another homophobic post he posted.
Jeremy Bieber, 48, took to Twitter on Wednesday (June 7) to offer an unusual Pride Month meme.
The image in question included a rainbow flag with the message: ‘Don’t forget to thank a straight person for your existence this month.’
Earlier this week, he also penned: ‘We need to celebrate families. U know the reason we’re all here!
‘The things this generation glorifies is unbelievable! [sic].’
His posts, understandably, did not go over well with the internet.
Jeremy then removed his original uploads and issued somewhat of an apology, writing later that day: ‘Acknowledging the nuclear family is offensive? My apologies to those offended.
‘Was not my intent. Not that my opinion matters.’
The famous father has provided further insight in his current action.
‘My post was to acknowledge families, that’s it! and before you say I abandoned my son, move on! that’s an old narrative pushed! its ridiculous and didn’t happen’, he wrote, also hitting out at critics of his relationship with Justin.
He added: ‘Now my delivery may have been poor but it was not to be hateful or homophobic…’
In a subsequent post, Jeremy appeared to continue digging a hole and revealing his real colours, complaining about LGBTQ+ persons ‘taking over’ schools.

‘My brother is gay and I adore him, Love whomever you want that’s your business not “mine” my problem is the hostile takeover of our cities and schools by LGBTQ this is the concern of many’, he tweeted.
‘There is a place for everyone, and everyone’s opinion! That does not equal hate!’
Surprise – the tweets received backlash.
‘You’re a homophobe. Full stop’, one person replied, with another saying his tweet was: ‘the equivalent to “im not racist i have black friends”.’
‘Just apologize, then keep quiet. It’s better’, wrote another, with one fan echoing them: ‘Why is he still talking?’
‘Ah yes, because nothing says acknowledging families like spreading hate and intolerance. Bravo’, one added.
Fans also picked up on Jeremy’s claim that he and Justin, 29, are still close.
‘old narrative pushed? your son always begged for your attention’, one fan told him, alongside a video of one of Justin’s songs with the lyric: ‘Mama, you were always somewhere, and Daddy, I live out of town… so far away and now I just need you here.’
Referencing Justin’s mom’s book, another fan wrote: ‘”it didnt happen” so where were you? in pattie’s book she says justin used to wait for HOURS at the door for u to pick him up and u wouldnt even call to say why u didnt show up. we have interviews, we know he grew up with only his mom, grandpa and grandma.’
While the Love Yourself hitmaker has not addressed his father’s homophobic remarks, it has been reported that he is unhappy and want to remove himself.
The Daily Mail reported that a source close to Justin has claimed the singer is ‘mad’ at Jeremy.
The Baby singer is thought to be attempting to avoid the spotlight in order to be there for his wife, Hailey Bieber.
