Jeremy Bieber has apologised for a string of insensitive messages he shared during Pride Month.
The 48-year-old, father of pop sensation Justin Bieber, stirred uproar earlier today when he shared a weird image on Twitter.
The image in question included a rainbow flag with the message: ‘Don’t forget to thank a straight person for your existence this month.’
‘We need to celebrate families,’ he wrote earlier this week. You know why we’re all here!
‘The things this generation glorifies is unbelievable! [sic].’
Following the outpouring of rage, Jeremy withdrew the meme and offered a brief apology, stating that he had not intended to do any harm.
We need to celebrate families. U know the reason we’re all here! The things this generation glorifies is unbelievable!

‘Acknowledging the nuclear family is offensive? My apologies to those offended,’ he tweeted.
‘Was not my intent. Not that my opinion matters.’
Jeremy erased the meme, but his post about praising ‘families’ is still accessible and has sparked outrage among followers.
‘It’s insane that ONE month that celebrates equality, and the fight for equality is so offensive to you,’ one wrote.

‘Without representation there wont be change. Stay proud y’all. #HappyPrideMonth.’
‘How utterly ridiculous and pathetic,’ another agreed. ‘Imagine being so insecure in your own identity that you feel the need to marginalize an already marginalized group. #HappyPrideMonth2023.’
A Twitter user replied: ‘I know right?!!! Glorifying love and acceptance and tolerance and just minding the business that is yours! CRAZY STUFF BRO!!!’
Jeremy has four children: Justin with Pattie Mallette, as well as Jazmyn, Jaxon, and Bay from previous relationships.

Hailey, Justin’s wife, recently revealed her desire to establish a family with the Peaches singer, admitting that she would want to have children of her own.
She did, however, reveal that she is concerned about the hostility their children may encounter as a result of the terrible comments they both routinely receive online.
In a new interview, when asked about having children, the model told the Sunday Times Style magazine, ‘I actually weep over this all the time!’
‘I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends.
‘I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child.
’We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe.’
