Joe Wicks has decided to withdraw his four-year-old daughter from school so that she can travel the world with their family.
The fitness expert, 37, is the father of three children with his model wife Rosie.
And, having served as the nation’s P.E. instructor during the lockdown, the Body Coach is now focusing on homeschooling in all disciplines.
Joe told his adoring fans that he wants to offer his daughter Indie “freedom” and the opportunity to “travel the globe.”
During a Q&A session, the media celebrity highlighted the “deciding factor” for homeschooling, which he published with a cute photo of his child clutching a painting she had done.
Joe explained: ‘There’s nothing really more to the decision than we just love being together as a family and want to spend more time with the kids while we can.
‘She had a great year in reception but we have always loved teaching the kids at home and want the freedom to travel more and explore the world.’
He maintained, though, that his ideas are not fixed in stone.
‘She might go to school next year, we have no idea long term but want to do at least a year of home educating,’ he said.
In a later post, Joe teased that his brood could be growing in the near future.
‘Do you want more children?’, asked a fan.
Joe responded: ‘Our dream is 6’, joking that he and Rosie are now ‘halfway there.’
The pair isn’t the only one who has recently declared their plans to homeschool their children.
Katie Price made news when she disclosed that her nine-year-old son Jett hasn’t attended to school in over a year.
The 45-year-old former beauty model has a son with ex Kieran Hayler.
Katie stated on TikTok this week that her kid Jett is ‘fine’ and is presently being homeschooled.
According to OK!, the mum-of-five noted: ‘Jett is good. He hasn’t been to school for nine months, so he has homeschooling at the moment.’
