Those waking up to find their futures decided on A-Level results day 2024 will have had no end of people weighing in about how they did back in the day, and celebs have been getting in on it too.
For the last 10 years, Jeremy Clarkson has waded in by sharing his own A-level results with a, erm, witty humble brag about how his grades haven’t prevented him from getting to where he is now.
Like The King’s speech, people have come to expect it at the same time every year, with 2024 marking the 10th anniversary of this fun tradition.
Last year, Jeremy posted on Twitter about his results followed by a casual mention that he owns a brewery.
This year he bragged: ‘Don’t worry if your A level results aren’t what you were hoping for. I got a C and two Us, and here I am, 46 years later, with my own pub.
‘It opens next weekend if you fancy dropping in,’ he added with a humble addition of self-promotion.
The former Top Gear star has delighted fans with this tradition, with many commenting on the tweet.
‘I always look forward to your yearly dose of inspiration,’ said luke_pwr.
‘Yayyyyy!!! Was waiting for this,’ said StartupManutd.
‘Was waiting for the annual Clarkson motivation,’ joked Fainttt_.
The TV star tweets yearly about the C and two Us he says he received but in case you haven’t kept up with the Clarkson’s Farm star’s annual tradition, we’ve rounded up the famous tweets…
