Amanda Holden didn’t let Jamie Theakston off the hook when he took his gear off on their Heart Breakfast programme this morning.
Amanda videotaped the odd incident so listeners may enjoy tormenting Jamie as much as she did.
‘I am sat in the studio with Jamie Theakston in front of me and he is basically naked,’ explained Amanda, 52, suppressing a laugh.
‘Someone has taken my clothes, and I don’t have a top,’ Jamie explained for viewers, who meanwhile were entertained by a remix of Tracey Chapman’s Fast Car.
It seems Heart Radio is partial to a prank or two, as Jamie continued: ‘I was just trying on a T-shirt and now I have nothing to wear.’
‘Jamie Theakston, in fact I’ve gone live on my Instagram, if you want to see Jamie Theakston naked on the radio,’ continued the Britain’s Got Talent judge, milking the moment to rip into her pal.
‘Just from the waist up, just from the waist up’ he claimed, before Amanda teased: ‘I can’t see what’s underneath you!’
‘Probably for the best,’ replied Jamie with a laugh, wrapping up the show, as Amanda hooted at his self-deprecating joke.
Fans were pretty amused by the video, as one joked, ‘Jamie started only fans 😂,’ while another said: ‘Traumatised! 😂.’
Fellow Heart Radio presenter Lindsey Russell chimed in with: ‘This is very upsetting.’
The off-screen prankster eventually returned Jamie’s T-shirts to him, as Amanda struggled to figure out how to conclude her Instagram video.
On their weekday breakfast programme, the couple always appear to have a good time, and previous shenanigans have included the Wild At Heart actress swallowing a large pickle while trying out an online craze.
The duo’s show has 3.9 million weekly listeners, and Boots has just confirmed that it will be the lead sponsor until 2025.
This comes after Amanda attended the Coronation concert honouring King Charles and Queen Camilla, which included a star-studded lineup.
Wearing a brilliant pink trouser suit to the event, with her trademark sense of humour, Amanda wrote alongside a post to mark the occasion: ‘Pink to make the #King wink ❤️🥂.’
