Jake Quickenden has a very defiant message for trolls after his parenting techniques were criticised.
The X Factor star shares son Leo with fiancée Sophie Church, and the tot is set to celebrate his first birthday next month.
However, it hasn’t been an easy first year for the family, who have had to face vile comments on social media, including some branding the tot ‘ugly’ and saying he ‘should die’.
Taking to Instagram, the 33-year-old gave us all a glimpse into their family day out to the zoo.
Alongside the upload, Jake took aim at those who had something to say about how he was parenting his son.
He wrote: ‘Got out of bed went to the zoo, all you trolls can eat some poo!!! Feel like I’m holding Leo back he wouldn’t go swimming with the sea lions and didn’t wanna ride a giraffe, left him with the lions for a-bit while we went for a jager bomb, to finish it off was annoyed that he didn’t wanna drive home!!
‘Thanks for all the nice messages from the normal nice people! [sic].’
Well, that pretty much says it all.
Fans were living for the caption and quickly flooded the comments section with support for the family.
‘Can’t understand why people have to be unkind! Keep being you Jake xx,’ a follower wrote.
‘I think it’s lovely how much you do talk about your son and the love you have for him,’ another agreed. ‘More than most on social media. Especially for a celebrity. Ignore the negativity’

Jake previously opened up about the horrific abuse that had been directed to his family in the past – with many comments being aimed at little Leo’s looks.
He also insisted that he wouldn’t be deterred from posting adorable pictures of his son on social media.
However, the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star explained that the majority of trolling had come from mums.
‘Being in the public eye for as long as I have now, I got used to nasty comments about me and my personality, and I shouldn’t have to get used to it because it shouldn’t be happening,’ he told Metro.co.uk.
‘I understand if somebody doesn’t like me, or I understand if somebody thinks I’m a little bit annoying, because I am.
‘But to say it about a baby who hasn’t really even got a personality yet, and to say nasty things about the way he looks, I couldn’t get my head around it. It made something boil inside of me, I just was so angry with it all.’
