On his girlfriend’s Instagram, Jack Whitehall was seen looking upset as they announced their intentions for their baby’s umbilical cord.
The comedian, 35, and Roxy Horner had their first child, a girl, earlier this month, and have since shared parenting updates with followers.
Roxy, the model, uploaded a photo with Jack cradling their newborn’s umbilical chord on Sunday.
‘Jack wanted to throw away baby’s umbilical chord and I wanted to preserve it, so we compromised and placed it in one of our home plants,’ she wrote with his visibly displeased look.
An intriguing option…
She later added an adorable picture holding the tot’s fingers, writing: ‘My whole world.’
This comes after Jack made a really depressing joke about his kid while reflecting on parenting.
Posting a photo of himself asleep on the sofa, the Bad Education star quipped: ‘Can’t believe I’m only two weeks into this.’
He added: ‘Also every morning I see these nappy’s and think did someone sneak in last night and give my daughter five pints of Guinness and a kebab [sic]?’
Gross!
Roxy earlier predicted Jack’s parenting abilities, suggesting that he would be a ‘wonderful dad’ and provide laughter.
‘I know we’ll count on him to constantly make the baby smile and laugh! I hope to be someone our child can always rely on, we just can’t wait for them to be here,’ she added.
