Hulk Hogan has teased the idea of a sensational WWE comeback – but insists ‘timing is everything’.
The wrestling icon – who will get his second Hall of Fame induction next week alongside his former nWo teammates – has opened up about the possibility of ‘one more run’, despite his last match for the company coming in 2006, while is most recent match at all was for TNA Wrestling in 2012.
Hogan shared a photo from this week’s Hall of Fame taping at the WWE ThunderDome in Florida, as he posed with his fellow inductees on a special night set to air on Peacock and the WWE Network next week.
He tweeted: ‘Great day yesterday,HOF class 2020,now when I sign WWE Championship Belts ,HOF 05/20? ,there will be no more ? mark brother.
‘When the crew saw I had the nWo title belt with me yesterday everyone got psyched for one more run, but timing is everything brother!!! nWoHollyWood4LifeHH (sic)’
It’s not the first time he’s teased a comeback – however unlikely it seems – and he even suggested earlier this year that the current crop of stars were scared he’d steal their spot.

As well as nWo members Hulk, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman and Scott Hall, legends John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield and the Bella Twins are also in the snap.
The late British Bulldog was represented by his widow Diana Hart-Smith and children Georgia Smith and Davey Boy Smith Jr.
Hogan’s upcoming WrestleMania 37 co-host Titus O’Neil made an appearance too – with rumours he will be honoured with the Warrior Award this year – while Triple H and Vince McMahon proudly stand alongside the inductees.
Davey Boy Jr. previously opened up about plans for his acceptance speech, and exclusively told Metro.co.uk about what he wants to include.
‘I’m pinpointing things down now, and trying to think of specific stories that I might want to address or what might be something the WWE Universe hasn’t heard,’ he said.
‘Of course, definitely appreciative to them for all the support they’ve given my father and the wrestling industry – definitely big thanks to them. I’ll have to see how much time I have to really decide.’
He described the induction as ‘long overdue’, but noted his gratitude to see his father Davey set to take his rightful place amongst the best in wrestling history.
‘Definitely long overdue, but I’m glad that it’s finally happened now,’ he smiled. ‘It’s a huge honour and I’m glad that WWE has put faith into me to do the induction.
‘As far as I know right now, it’s not gonna be anyone else, so I’m very grateful for that.’
