Hugh Jackman has had a wonderful night when he wakes up sweating the next morning.
On a school night in London, the Wolverine actor, who is freshly single after 27 years of marriage, painted the town red, but paid the price.
Hugh, 55, dined like a king and drank champagne with famed chef Gordon Ramsay.
The actor from The Greatest Showman shared a series of photographs from his wild night out – well, snaps shot before things got wild – with his social media fans.
Hugh complimented Kitchen Nightmares star Gordon, 57, in his post for the fantastic time at his Bar and Grill in the capital.
Confessing that he got slightly carried away with the alcohol, Hugh wrote: ‘Went out on a school night. I knew I’d pay for it in sweat today but – so worth it!!
‘Thank you @gordongram. Everything @chef.mattabe brought out was incredible. Gojard and the entire team. @gordonramsaybarandgrill thank you for making it a night to remember!’
Hugh posed on the wet London streets, looking quite stylish in his all-black ensemble, as well as images of chef Matt Abé and an outstanding bottle of champers.
‘You looked great, Hugh! Glad to see you enjoying a night out. Even if it’s a school night ’, commented HughJackmanFansite.
‘Every post..he just gets more handsome ’, declared fan AelinRoses.
Hugh’s big night out demonstrates that, despite his heartbreaking divorce, he is still upbeat.
The Australian actor and Deborra Lee-Furness, who married in 1996 after a whirlwind romance, announced their split in September, much to the surprise of fans.
‘We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,’ their statement released at the time read.
‘Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.
‘Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.
‘We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.’
The message, shared with People Magazine, concluded: ‘This is the sole statement either of us will make.’
Indeed, neither Hugh nor Deborah have responded further.
However, in shocking news, the former couple seemed to unfollow each other on Instagram.
Deborah has made her profile private.
Meanwhile, Hugh continues to post photos of himself having fun out and about, such as his morning strolls in London and New York’s Central Park.
