On Sunday, Holly Willoughby wished her sister Kelly a happy birthday.
Holly, 42, made the remark after accusations circulated that she had ‘broken connections’ with her ITV co-host Phillip Schofield.
It’s been a rollercoaster week for the presenters, with insiders reporting that the duo no longer interact behind the scenes and that their friendship has ‘cooled’.
Holly, on the other hand, made sure to celebrate her adored sibling’s birthday at the end of the weekend, posting on Instagram: ‘It’s this wonderful human’s birthday… Have a wonderful day today and always…’I love you so much.’
Holly also shared a stunning snapshot of herself with Kelly, the managing director of Holly’s company Wylde Moon.
A source close to Holly said earlier this week that she has chosen to break her on-screen connection with Phil after 15 years.
According to sources, the mum-of-three will likely present This Morning alongside her friend Alison Hammond or on her own, but no official announcement has been made.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source said: ‘Don’t be surprised if you never see them together again, apart from on camera.
‘This has all been so heartbreaking for Holly, but she knows she has to stand on her own two feet and cut the strings.’

They added: ‘Nobody ever thought it would end like this. They were part of one another’s families, and they spent a lot of their weekends socialising. She has tried so hard.’
On Thursday, Phil appeared to downplay rumours of a feud as he heaped praise on Holly and branded her his ‘rock’.
Speaking to the Sun, he said: ‘As I have said before, Holly is my rock. We’re the best of friends – as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.
‘Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.
‘The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.’
Insiders later claimed that Phil’s statement had ‘blindsided’ Holly, who was unaware he was going to speak about their connection.
