Helen Skelton has listed her former property for sale following her divorce from Richie Myler, according to sources.
The Strictly Come Dancing finalist for 2022, 39, confirmed in April that she and the rugby player, 33, had divorced after nearly ten years of marriage.
Helen, who has three children with Richie, claimed at the time that he had left their family home four months after their youngest was born.
Richie then announced in October that he was having a child with his new partner Stephanie Thirkill, with a daughter due in April 2023.
Helen is believed to be eager for a fresh start away from her marital home after a difficult year.
Speaking to The Mirror, a source said: ‘Helen has moved on with her life and feels it’s time to start with a clean slate.
‘She’s put the house they shared on the market and is looking for a new place she can move to with the kids in the coming months.’
Helen and Richie married in 2013 and relocated to Yorkshire seven years later.
They splurged on different remodelling improvements before calling it quits in 2022.
Months later, Helen, who has three children, Ernie, eight, Louis, five, and Elsie, 16 months, appeared on Celebrity Yorkshire Auction House in what was described as a’revenge’ performance.
The programme, which was co-filmed with auctioneer Angus Ashworth, followed Helen as she uncovered ‘quirky memories’ in her home, including old wedding presents.
Helen herself stated that she had’sold a lot of items’ as she decluttered her life.
The TV host chatted with Grazia earlier this year about life following her marriage to the sportsman.
Helen told the magazine: ‘My life’s no different to millions of other people’s lives.
‘Lots of people have the same sorts of things to look after and sort out.
‘I think life is fun, and short, and wonderful, and you just take each chapter as they come along.
‘There’s no point overthinking stuff – you just get on with it.’
And Helen’s good attitude will undoubtedly propel her career forward.
She was reportedly speculated to replace Rylan Clark as the new Strictly: It Takes Two presenter, but Fleur East has since been revealed as his successor.
However, there are claims that Helen has signed up for other reality programmes, like Celebs Go Dating, and that she has been promised ‘huge money’ to take part and meet a match.
A source told The Sun: ‘Helen has already proved she is great on TV and is really interesting to watch.
‘The public really felt for her after her split and bosses think everyone would love to see her dating journey.’
Despite executives’ willingness to make a sizable deal to bring her on board, Helen is said to be apprehensive about ‘sharing that aspect of her life’ on TV.
