Helen Skelton is rumoured to be looking for love again after her divorce from ex-husband Richie Myler.
The Strictly Come Dancing 2022 finalist, 40, confirmed in April that she and Richie, 33, had divorced after over ten years of marriage.
Richie moved out of their family home four months after Helen gave birth to their third child, and Richie is now seeing Stephanie Thirkill.
In April 2023, the rugby player and his new girlfriend had a baby daughter.
While Helen has kept much of her personal life out of the public over the last year, the TV host is now allegedly “reluctantly putting her toe back into the dating pool.”
A source told OK!: ‘After her trust was broken, she’s nowhere near ready for an all-in long-term romance.
‘But she’s not closing herself off to anything anymore.
‘She’s open to new adventures in all respects and is making it her aim to say “yes” to more things that excite her.’
Helen has also ‘rediscovered her mojo,’ according to the publication.
This follows recent allegations that Helen was being considered for Celebs Go Dating after her marriage collapsed.
Helen was said to have been promised ‘huge money’ for the engagement.
A source told The Sun in March, following her Strictly stint: ‘Helen has already proved she is great on TV and is really interesting to watch.
‘The public really felt for her after her split and bosses think everyone would love to see her dating journey.’
They predicted that she would decline the offer.
The insider added: ‘They are willing to offer her big bucks to take part, but it looks like Helen really isn’t interested in sharing that part of her life. It would take a lot to change her mind.’
Helen has allegedly put her marital house on the market as she seeks for a new place to live with her children as she moves on with her life after her divorce from Richie.
Sourced told The Mirror that she was looking for a ‘clean slate’ after three years in the Yorkshire property.
Helen previously told Grazia about her divorce and life after her affair with the sportsman.
The Countryfile presenter told the magazine: ‘My life’s no different to millions of other people’s lives.
‘Lots of people have the same sorts of things to look after and sort out.
‘I think life is fun, and short, and wonderful, and you just take each chapter as they come along.
‘There’s no point overthinking stuff – you just get on with it.’
