Heidi Klum reveals daughter Leni, 16, wants to become a model

Heidi Klum has revealed there might be another model in the family after her daughter Leni, 16, has expressed an interest in the career.

The former Victoria’s Secret model is one of the most famous faces on the planet, however, she has worked hard to keep her children out of the spotlight.

Now it appears her eldest child has decided it is time to take the leap and follow her mother’s footsteps in the fashion business.

Heidi, 47, explained to People: ‘I always thought she was too young. We always also decided to keep the children out of the public eye. But she’s driving a car now, she’s 16, so I figured if you can do that, you can also model now if this is what you wish to do.’

Leni – full name Helene Boshoven Samuel – was famously adopted by Heidi’s ex-husband Seal, however, her birth father is Flavio Briatore.

Having a model mom certainly has it perks as Heidi revealed she has been taking her teen along with her to different TV sets.

The America’s Got Talent judge stated: ‘I think it’s very interesting to her. When you’re that age you’re still trying to figure out who you are, what you want to be and kind of see for the first time what are all these different jobs to make a TV show happen.

‘Who knows, maybe in five years when I’m not hosting the show anymore maybe it’s going to be like Germany’s Next Top Model by Leni Klum instead of Heidi Klum.’

Heidi made it clear she’s not pushing her daughter to get into modeling without being fully prepared for the downsides as she told the publication: ‘You have to be a strong person, especially as a woman you have to be very strong.

The German model is also a mother to Henry, 15, Johan, 14, and 11-year-old Lou.
