In a crazy new video promoting probiotics, Gwyneth Paltrow managed to reveal Gwyneth Paltrow herself.
The Marvel star took time out of her hectic schedule to record a short ad for Seed, a probiotics firm, and the outcome is spectacular.
In the video, shot at her kitchen table, the 50-year-old pops the brand’s tablet into her mouth for a single second before swiping it out.
‘So this is a 24-strain probiotic, not the kind you find in yoghurt and stuff like that,’ she told viewers.
Gwyneth’s son Moses, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin, interrupted the footage by preparing a drink in the kitchen.
Instead of just waiting for the 17-year-old to stop, pausing the ad or moving away from the noise, she simply spoke over the racket, explaining: ‘Moses is steaming some milk…’

‘It’s so good for bloating and regularity…,’ she continued, getting right back into the recording before it abruptly ended.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the clip and took to Twitter to talk about the Oscar winner’s marketing efforts.
‘This is Gwyneth Paltrow’s promo for a probiotics startup,’ Twitter user Ana Mostarac wrote beside the clip in question.
‘Her son frothing milk in the background, the delicate supplement nibble, the ad script reflecting off her glasses, and her one-take dedication. This is a marketing savant.’
‘I don’t even think she’s being sarcastic,’ a viewer replied.
‘I love that some company paid Gwyneth Paltrow to make this ad and she refused to do a second take,’ a follower said.
‘The most amazing paid ad feat. @GwynethPaltrow,’ another agreed. ‘Posted on TikTok today where you can experience what makes her the queen of UGC: -milk LOUDLY steaming -script reflected in glasses -cuts off halfway thru the vid.
‘Perfect? Nope! It just has to work. She dgaf and I LOVE her for it.’
‘She’s invented a whole new genre of marketing. Hats off,’ a Twitter user praised as others described the footage as a ‘masterclass’.
To be honest, we’re all talking about Seed and their advertisement right now, so Gwynnie very much nailed the brief.
According to Vulture, she was not compensated for the promotion, which makes it even more memorable.
