Ben Affleck and George Clooney have been spotted filming with their co-stars on the set of The Tender Bar in Massachusetts.
The actor and director were both seen wearing face masks amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as they took a break between scenes.
George, 59, was spotted leaning against a car during a pause in filming, carrying another jacket to put over the one he was wearing in case he got chilly in the downtime between directing scenes.
Ben, 48, was seen dressed down, with a green quilted coat and black jeans on as production staff milled around him.
The stars were also joined by Lily Rabe and Tye Sheridan who also have roles in the upcoming drama.
The Tender Bar is based on the 2005 memoir by author J. R. Moehringer, following a boy growing up in Long Island without a dad.
The youngster then turns to the patrons at his uncle Charlie’s bar to search for father figures among them.
Tye will play the lead while Ben takes of the role of his uncle, with George directing the flick.
It’s not the first time Ben and George have worked together as actor and director respectively, with George producing Argo, which won an Oscar for best picture.
An insider told People: ‘Ben is excited to be in Boston. He and George are happy to be reunited and working together again.’
A production source added: ‘Ben comes prepared and ready to film. He and George are great to work with.’
Filming for The Tender Bar began in February with Covid precautions in place for the cast and crew and shooting is expected to last until mid-April in Boston. A release date is yet to be announced for the project.
