Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Márquez have opened out about their life as parents to their son Thiago.
However, he was not called Thiago from birth since the parents struggled to come up with a name for him.
On July 19, the former Hollyoaks actress, 38, and Strictly Come Dancing star, 32, welcomed their second child.
Gemma and Gorka, who met on Strictly in 2017 despite not being matched together, have a daughter named Mia, who was born in 2019.
Gemma and Gorka didn’t have a name for their baby son, who was just five days old at the time, in their first interview since becoming a family of four.
‘They change so much each day,’ Gemma told OK! Magazine.

‘I think that’s why they give you six weeks before you have to register their name. Just to see.’
This wasn’t the first time she and Gorka tried to come up with a name for their firstborn, Mia.
‘Mia was Bella for a week, but we changed it,’ Gemma admitted, laughing about Mia’s preference for naming her little sibling Barbie, Harold, or Ralph.
The pair described living in their baby bubble as ‘wonderful’ before Gorka’s Strictly training forced him away from home after only a week.
Gemma also mentioned that Thiago seemed to have ‘always’ been there since he’slotted right in.’
‘We’re obviously exhausted but it’s that fun exhaustion whereby it doesn’t matter if you’ve not had a wash and your hair’s a mess, and we’re in our PJs. It’s just nice,’ the actress smiled.
‘It’s been a lot more chilled this time. Your second one isn’t easier, but it’s more manageable because there are no firsts.’
Meanwhile, the engaged couple, who will be featured in a new W documentary Gemma And Gorka: Life Behind The Lens, are not in a hurry to take the next step and go down the aisle.
When it comes to wedding preparations, the ex-Emmerdale star insists they are “quite chilled.”
‘We have two babies. I’m not really fussed by a white wedding,’ she admitted, with Gorka having popped the question on Valentine’s Day 2021.
‘A nice little quiet affair with friends and family and we’ll be happy.’
Although, Gemma did joke about wanting to ‘fit in [her] dress’ before saying ‘I do.’
