Frankie Cocozza has changed dramatically in the 12 years since he appeared on The X Factor.
The 30-year-old singer looks nothing like the young kid with windswept indie hair who participated on the singing competition programme over a decade ago (as you’d expect).
He now has a small kid, Frankie, whom he welcomed with his wife Bianca Murphy in 2019, despite the fact that the couple’split’ last year.
Frankie now resides in Australia and is a member of the band Telescreen. He looks to be doing well since being fired from The X Factor in 2011.
While appearing alongside Little Mix and Marcus Collins and being coached by Take That’s Gary Barlow, Frankie allegedly boasted about doing cocaine in front of production employees.
He was 18 at the time and subsequently apologised, stating his life had “gotten out of hand.”
Now, the teen-star has tweeted a photo of himself and his mini-me relaxing on the balcony of his Bondi Beach residence.
Frankie captioned the photo of the two, who appear to be twins, ‘Big mush, small mush x.’
The X Factor contestant appears to be in good shape despite his lack of long hair.
Frankie and Bianca became social media friends in 2017, married the following year in Brighton, and welcomed Frankie Jr. in 2019.
However, Bianca changed her surname back to Cocozza and removed the singer from her social media accounts last year.
A source told The Sun: ‘Frankie and Bianca were madly in love but things just fizzled out over time.
‘They have remained on good terms for the sake of their son, Frankie Jr, but have both moved on.’
‘Bianca has ditched Cocozza as her surname and he has removed all trace of her from his Instagram,’ they added.
After confessing to spending his £200,000 X Factor riches on booze, the singer claimed in 2017 that he was working on a construction site for £7.50 an hour.
Speaking to The Mirror, Frankie said: ‘I have no regrets. I performed on live TV in front of 14 million and that’s such a great thing to tell people.’
On getting a new job for some routine, Frankie revealed: ‘I think I was just bored. I sat in my room for the last three or four years playing guitar every day.’
On The X Factor, Frankie famously bared his buttocks, disclosing the names of the seven ladies he’d slept with at the time of his audition.
