Kayla Itsines dismissed claims she hired a glam squad to do her four-year-old daughter Arna’s hair and makeup before the little one’s preschool class photos.
The Australian fitness influencer, 32 – who has almost 16million Instagram followers – was accused of getting professionals to pamper her child after she posted a bunch of salon shots to the app’s stories feature.
In a series of photos and videos, the little girl was filmed as she sat in the beautician’s chair enjoying a blow-dry and eyebrow session from the pros.
Alongside one clip that showed Kayla’s mini-me having her hair brushed and eyebrows groomed, the fitness star added text that read: ‘I have work today Arna has school photos @massimotirimacco and @ali_makeup_ have ditched me for Arna… she’s much more important [sic].’
The comment was followed by a screenshot of an article that denied allegations she had specifically called on her glam squad to touch up the four-year-old for her school snaps.
With a huge red arrow draw on the slide to point out she was addressing the claim in the headline, the influencer hit back and said: ‘No dude.
‘Wow absolutely not. Zero. Never. Arna came with me to work this morning and my hair and makeup artist were so excited, when I started doing her hair for school photos, they wanted to do it.
‘No one is hiring a hair and makeup team for preschool photos for their kid. Arna is just lucky everyone loves her [sic].’
Kayla shares Arna with her ex-husband and former co-founder Tobi Pearce who she met in last 2012.
