Sydney Sweeney managed to find time in her Met Gala prep to pull of a Princess Diaries moment as she showed off her stunning transformation.
The Euphoria actress, 24, wore a cream gown for the prestigious occasion on Monday evening, which converted from a long ballgown to a short minidress.
She channeled Mia from The Princess Diaries, who was played by Anne Hathaway in the film series, as she underwent her transformation from normal schoolgirl into a princess.
As two photos of Sydney, squinting with no make-up on and wearing glasses in another shot, were held up in front of her, the original voiceover could be heard over the top, with Larry Miller as stylist Paolo saying: ‘Only Paolo can take this, and this and give you…’
The photographs are then parted as his female assistants add: ’A princess’.
Sydney was then seen smiling and showing off the beautiful gown and her tousled hair and smoky eye make-up for her first ever Costume Institute benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan.
Prior to walking the red carpet, Sydney admitted she was ‘so nervous and excited’ to be attending the event.
Other stars who walked the carpet included Kim Kardashian, 41, who posed with boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28.
She had opted to wear Marilyn Monroe’s famous gown from when she sang Happy Birthday to president John F. Kennedy in 1962.
The reality star was only able to wear the historic garment for the red carpet photos before she had to change into a replica of the design for the rest of the evening.
She had also revealed she lost 16lb in order to fit into the gown as alterations were strictly forbidden as it was the original worn by Marilyn herself.
