Emma Willis shared an intimate throwback picture of the moment her daughter Trixie Grace was born to mark her fifth birthday.
The TV presenter, 45, shares Trixie, daughter Isabelle and son Ace with husband Matt Willis.
The mum-of-three, who recently completed her training to become a vaccination volunteer during the pandemic, wished her daughter a happy birthday on Tuesday while marking Star Wars Day on May 4th.
She posted a photo on Instagram of herself from 2016 in hospital having given birth to Trixie, cradling her moments old child on her chest.
Trixie had been covered with a blanket and was wearing a little white hat as she nestled into her mum’s bare chest. Emma looked relaxed with one hand gently holding the back of her new baby’s head.
The Big Brother host added a second, up to date picture of them together, with Emma wearing a party hat suggesting they had celebrated Trixie’s special day at home. The presenter also noted that she was carrying Trixie in the same way in both photos.
Emma said in the picture caption: ‘Then and now… Holding her the same way, since the day she was born Happy birthday little one, we love you so very much. May the fourth be with you, always’, adding three red heart emoji.
While she chooses never to reveal her kids’ faces on social media, the TV star regularly keeps her fans update with lovely pictures of what they get up to.
Emma has been praised in the past for ‘breaking gender stereotypes’ with snaps of son Ace wearing his hair long, and for revealing how she lets her children express themselves.
‘Raised in exactly the same way, yet all completely unique. My teenager before her time, my boss lady baby and my rainbow boy,’ she said of her trio on Instagram during Children’s Mental Health Week.
‘This week I’ve watched them discuss and explore their own mental health with their teachers and class mates and I couldn’t be prouder.
‘I don’t remember experiencing anything like this when I was at school but it’s so obviously necessary for our kids, so their little minds can start to understand their thoughts, feeling, and emotions and that they feel comfortable expressing them.’
