Emily Ratajkowski celebrated her son Sylvester’s second birthday with a touching video of herself in labour.
Emily gave birth to Sylvester on March 8, 2021, and the toddler is shared with her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard.
The runway model, 31, celebrated Sylvester’s second birthday this week by posting a photo and video montage of herself and her kid.
In some, the adoring mother was still pregnant with Sylvester, while others depicted him at various stages throughout the previous 24 months.
In one scene, Emily sat in a hospital bed, her head tilted back, as a nurse seemed to monitor the model’s vitals in the background.
The little video clip provided as a strong reminder of how amazing our bodies are.
The fashion queen filed for divorce from producer Sebastian in September, and it was reported that her case was ‘contested,’ implying that there were difficulties that needed to be handled before the couple could formally terminate their marriage.
Emily’s message comes after she taught the world how to pronounce her name correctly.
Liana Satenstein questioned the supermodel, ‘How do you pronounce your last name?’ in a video released on the Tory Burch TikTok page ahead of the fashion house’s NYFW event.
‘Rat-Ah-Kof-Ska,’ she replied, before saying: ‘Rat-Ah-Kof-Ski. Actually, if it’s feminine, it’s ‘Rat-Ah-Kof-Ska.’
This isn’t the first time the mother-of-one has offered advice on how to pronounce her name, noting that most people don’t get it properly.
Others have even advised that Emily alter her name, which she has no intention of doing.
‘The J is silent,’ she previously told Rolling Stone. ‘That’s the trick. Occasionally people get it right on the first try, just through random luck.
‘People have told me to change it over the years, but my dad is always saying, “Never change your name!”
‘My middle name is O’Hara, so it’s a pretty epic name. Emily O’Hara Ratajkowski.’
