Emily Ratajkowski follows Madonna and appears to come out as bisexual amid Brad Pitt dating rumours

Madonna may have sparked a trend as, hours after appearing to come out as gay on TikTok, Emily Ratajkowski has hinted that she’s bisexual in her own video.

The model, 31, kept her fans guessing when she hopped on a TikTok trend which declares that the person is bisexual if they own a green velvet sofa.

In the video, Emily is seen staring down into the camera before it cuts to another TikToker who asks: ‘If you identity as bisexual, do you own a green velvet couch?’

The camera then cuts to Emily who pans to her own large green velvet sofa in her living room.

Celebrating the model apparently being a part of the LGBTQ+ community, one of Emily’s TikTok followers commented: ‘So many celeb women are coming out and I just love it.’

Another revealed: ‘I’m not even gay but I feel like this a win for us.’

‘Wasn’t on my bingo card but happy to be here,’ while another shocked follower said: ‘Let’s just say this is probably one of the many things I never expected.’

YouTuber Francesca Farago joked: ‘So we all just own the same couch.’

Emily’s ‘announcement’ coincides with National Coming Out Day, which falls on October 11, and has been marked by other stars opening up about their sexuality.

Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell also did the green sofa video and filmed herself flopping onto her furniture, seemingly coming out as bisexual.

Pop icon Madonna also appears to have come out as gay after sharing a TikTok video, in which she attempted to throw a pair of knickers into a bin but if she missed, it means she is gay – and she didn’t make the shot.

Emily’s revelation comes after she reportedly filed for divorce from her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard at the beginning of September. The two had been married for four years and share one-year-old son Sylvester.

Court documents previously obtained by Page Six reportedly showed that the Inamorata designer filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on September 8.

Since then, rumours have swirled that Emily has been quietly dating Brad Pitt with an insider claiming they are ‘spending a lot of time together’.

The source added to People Magazine that ‘friends aren’t sure if it’s serious’, as they don’t ‘appear to be “dating” formally’.
