Eamonn Holmes had more therapy for his back ailments and posted about his newest attempt to relieve discomfort on social media.
On Thursday, the 63-year-old actor sent an update to his fans, revealing the next stage of his recuperation after spinal surgery.
The GB News Breakfast anchor posed for a photo while lying back on a hospital bed, his head strapped into a device.
He was still dressed in his white suit shirt while he underwent a back-lengthening stretching treatment.
Eamonn made light of his circumstances by captioning the photo, “I look like an 80’s Disco dancer…. but I’m actually on a rack with my neck and back stretched.” Decompression of the spine.’
Family, friends, and fans sent comments beneath the Instagram post, and Eamonn’s wife was the first to weigh in on his new look.
Penning a note to her husband, Ruth Langsford, 63 said: ‘Ouch! I like the 80’s vibe though! X.’
More messages flooded the picture with one fan writing: ‘So you’ll be a few inches taller after this. X.’
Another said, ‘Keep going strong,’ referring to his young appearance in the photo. Also, how beautiful is your skin?’
Eamonn’s revelation came after he shared additional information about his back problems during a segment on his breakfast programme, which he co-hosts with Isabelle Webster.
While speaking with guest Tim Franklin, who was racing across the world, the TV host mentioned that his recuperation from spinal surgery was difficult.
He pondered about his September procedure a year ago and said that he had subsequently experienced a frightening fall.
Tim was telling the star about his own infirmities and back problems when Eamonn revealed that he ‘hadn’t healed’ from his own and stated, ‘I can’t run, I can’t walk, I can’t do anything but watch TV and eat’.
He continued: ‘I just got problems last year in my back, which I haven’t recovered from. It’s not good, it’s not a good recipe I have to say.’
The actor initially noticed back discomfort in 2021 and subsequently realised he had three slipped discs, limiting his movement in his right leg.
