David Beckham is famed for his ever-changing haircuts at this point, and he’s just changed things up again.
From bleach-blonde locks to a man bun, a ponytail, a ‘faux hawk,’ and even a true mohawk, the 48-year-old former England footballer has tried it all.
But he’s had an outstanding quiff for a while now.
But out of boredom, he decided to buzz it all off.
The adoring father-of-four provided his best Blue Steel in a photo of his metamorphosis.
‘Nothing much changes’, he joked.
‘Get bored of my hair, chop it off 😂’
The actor debuted his new look on Instagram, with his brunette hair cut short once more.
Becks appears to have more hair on his face than on his head, since he still sports a goatee and moustache.
His new hairstyle sees him hashtag twinning with son Romeo, 20, who just cut his own hair.
Sharing his own haircut to social media, the second eldest Beckham boy posed for a selfie with a caption thanking his barber for ‘helping me bring back dad’s buzz.’
The likeness was remarkable when compared to an old photo of his father – but the parallels didn’t end there.
Both father and son wore earrings in each ear, had partially shaven brows, and even shared facial hair.
Dad David was quick to complement his kid, sharing the photograph and saying, ‘Looking fantastic’.
David has revealed that one of his haircuts throughout the years is the one he regrets.
Last month, the Inter Miami founder admitted that his 2003 cornrows are something he regrets wearing while on vacation in France before travelling to South Africa to meet with its former President, Nelson Mandela.
David, who has been married to Spice Girl Victoria Beckham for 24 years, admits that his fashion choices are now considered “cultural appropriation.”
Explaining his decision, David recalled: ‘We were there with family and one of Victoria’s friends who is a hairdresser.
‘I asked if she could do something with my hair and she said, “Do you want cornrows?” and I said, “Yeah. I don’t know what they are. But yeah.” It was painful having them done but I liked them.’
‘People ask if I have any regrets about my hairstyles and while I don’t regret any of them, I do sort of regret the cornrows,’ he added, during a talk in front of a crowd of 600 for a charity launch at St John’s Wood Synagogue in North London.
The retired footie star said that he had them put in on a Saturday and then ‘on the Monday I flew to South Africa with the England team for a match’.
He continued, via The Sun: ‘I got to meet the great Nelson Mandela. And the picture that I’ve got of Nelson Mandela is me holding his hand with cornrows in my hair. That’s my only regret.’
