Cristiano Ronaldo is telling us he’s rich without telling us he’s rich as he fit in some quality time with his son, Cristiano Jr, this week…in…a…cryogenic chamber?
Because, look, are you even bonding with your child if it’s not in a cryogenic ice facility?
The Manchester United footballer, 37, has shared his love of the practice before, which involves plunging oneself into a chamber that’s set to temperatures as low as -200 degrees celsius, with claims the therapy can help heal and rehabilitate tissue. The celebrity-loved treatment is also said to aid weight loss and slow down the physical effects of ageing…apparently.
Sharing a shot alongside his 11-year-old son, Cristiano was seen in his pants, with Junior also wearing a pair of gloves and shoes to help protect his extremities from the freezing temperatures as they posed outside what appeared to be the room of doom, sorry, we mean, cryotherapy chamber, with snow-covered mountains a very apt wallpaper of the facility.
Suggesting a spot of cryotherapy was what the pair were indulging in, Cristiano wrote alongside the photo with some telltale emoji: ‘Recovery time with my boy 
.’
Earlier this year the star footballer shared a cryotherapy session he underwent while in Dubai, posting a clip to his Instagram of another ‘recovery’ session.
Wearing his pants, a pair of gloves, ear warmers and a face mask, he was seen walking through a series of frosty rooms before waving goodbye to whoever was filming him as he stayed in what we can only describe as an icy mistress of a chamber not for the faint of heart.
Cristiano’s sweet day with his son comes after the heartbreaking news the sportsman and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, lost their baby son.
The pair revealed in October they were expecting twins, with Georgina, 28, giving birth to a boy and a girl in April.
However their newborn son did not survive the delivery.
During their incredible loss, Cristiano and Georgina have been keeping fans updated on social media, including a poignant post where the sports star thanked his 436million followers for their ‘kind words and gestures’, before revealing their daughter’s name is Bella Esmeralda.
Cristiano and Georgina also share a daughter Alana, three, while Cristiano is also dad to twins Eva and Mateo, four, who he had via unknown surrogates in the United States.
