Courteney Cox was in a sentimental mood as her daughter Coco turned 17 this weekend and shared the most epic throwback photos to mark the special occasion.
The Friends star led the happy birthday messages for Coco on Sunday, followed by her ex-husband and Scream co-star David Arquette.
In her Instagram post, Courteney included several photos mostly from Coco’s childhood, including one of the actress herself looking fresh-faced and flashing a bright smile while cradling the tiny youngster.
Another was a recent close-up of Coco, fully into her teenage years and bearing a striking resemblance to both of her famous parents. Courteney also included a funny video of Coco as a child pulling silly faces.
The actress wrote in the caption: ‘Happy 17th birthday to my strong, sensitive, creative, loving, soulful, beautiful, talented, and wise Coco. I love you so much. .’
She added: ‘Happy birthday to my coconut. She’s the best kind of nut!’
Naomi Campbell, Octavia Spencer and Courteney’s Cougar Town co-star Busy Phillips were among the stars to join in with the birthday wishes in the comments.

Over on his Instagram, Coco’s dad David posted several old photos from her childhood and said: ‘I couldn’t love anything or anyone more than I love @cocoarquette_ Thank you for being you. I love you with all my heart. Happy 17th Birthday!!’
Coco even got birthday love from Courteney’s bestie and Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston, who is the youngster’s godmother.
Alongside a cute photo of her cradling Coco, Jennifer wrote: ‘Happy birthday my sweet Cocolicious! Godmama loves you.’
In March, Courteney opened up about parenting style and admitted that she’s ‘not strict enough’ with Coco.
Speaking to Kevin Nealon, she said: ‘I’m way too understanding of the fact I would probably have done the same thing, I don’t keep my boundaries like I should and that’s the problem.’
Courteney, 56, and David, 49, welcomed Coco in 2004 after marrying in 1999. However, the actors announced they had split in 2010 with their divorce finalised in 2013.
They remain friends and are set to reunite on-screen in the upcoming Scream sequel, reprising their roles as Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley.
