Rachel Riley has announced she is pregnant and expecting her second child with husband Pasha Kovalev.
The Countdown presenter, who is already mum to one-year-old daughter Maven, shared the news on Wednesday quite aptly with a clue on the Countdown board.
Alongside a photo of her touching her stomach, Rachel tweeted: ‘A special teatime teaser!
‘And your clue is… Riley had this to thank for the reason her clothes no longer fit her…
‘And it’ll only get worse till Autumn!
‘Happy, happy days for our little family @pashakovalev and future big sister Mave.’
Rachel, 35, and Pasha, 40, recently celebrated Maven’s first birthday in December and opened up about their experience as new parents.

(@RachelRileyRR) When asked what it’s like watching Pasha as a father, Rachel told Hello!: ‘It’s been gorgeous.
‘My friends always said when you love someone and you see them with a child… he is just amazing with her. He’s better with her than with me, I’ve got the secret weapon of boobs and he has to actually learn proper parenting.
‘She loves him, he loves her. Even when looking at a picture of her, his face just lights up – it’s gorgeous.’
Rachel also hinted at their plans to expand their family – perhaps already knowing she was with child – and teased: ‘Yeah, we definitely want another little person to have Maven be friends with. When that happens, that would be lovely.’
The couple met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 when he was still a professional dancer on the series and Rachel a contestant.
They confirmed their relationship in 2014 after her marriage to James Gilbert broke down before marrying themselves in a surprise wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in 2019, just weeks after announcing Rachel’s pregnancy.
Hopefully Rachel’s birthing story will less eventful than the first as little Maven arrived on her bathroom floor.
