Catherine Zeta-Jones was laid up after suffering an injury while decorating her home for Christmas.
With it being the most wonderful time of the year people are making their homes sparkle any way they can, but watch out for festive hazards…
The Mask of Zorro star was putting up Christmas decorations, but her day quickly went left after an iron statue fell on her foot.
Rather than decking the halls, Catherine had to stay off her feet instead as she gave herself a a chance to recover.
She posted a video on Instagram of herself in bed resting her foot which had a makeshift ice pack, made from a plastic bag, draped over her ankle.
Catherine, 51, said: ‘So I was putting up my Christmas decorations and an iron rod that is supposed to be a sculpture, which I don’t even like, fell on my foot and it hurts. Happy Sunday.’
The Chicago actress joked in the Instagram caption: ‘Ziplock Zeta foot fashion! Ice ice baby.’
‘Oh no !!!! Ouch !!! So sorry lovely !!! Sending love’ one of her followers said in the comments.
‘Prayers it heals quickly’ said another while one wrote: ‘Hoping nothing seriously wrong and you’re better quick!’

The star has been married to actor Michael Douglas since 2000 and the couple share children Carys and Dylan.
Hopefully her other half can step in as Catherine recovers.
