Cardi B and Offset have come under fire for throwing a maskless party in a nightclub to celebrate his 29th birthday.
The pair did not appear to maintain any social distancing at the event on Monday night, with only a few guests spotted wearing masks.
The Bodak Yellow rapper, 28, went all out to help her husband celebrate his big day, even gifting the rapper with a gold tint Lamborghini Aventador SVJ – worth around $600,000 ($446k).
The pair were more than happy to share clips from the busy nightclub on social media, with both posting videos and pictures on Instagram Story.
Offset – who recently said he won’t take the Covid-19 vaccine – then shared a video on Instagram which revealed the moment his wife gave him the flashy car.
Cardi kept his eye covered as they moved along with a crowd towards the car, with Offset immediately rejoicing at the sight of the rare Italian sports car.
The pair were soon slammed for seemingly behaving irresponsibly during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The pandemic is still rampant in the US where more than 300,000 people have died from the virus.
One annoyed fan wrote: ‘So covid knows to avoid celebrities? Y’all see @iamcardib party last night?? #corona #CardiB #smh #greatexample.’
Another wrote: ‘So Cardi B and offset partying in packed clubs? After the US surpassed 16 million covid cases and 300k deaths?
One tweeted: ‘Lmao this is awesome. Cardi B always going off covid is real wear a mask blah blah meanwhile look at the party they’re having. Don’t listen to elites.
While one wrote: ‘Wondering what world @iamcardib lives in that she’s posting Instagram stories of a packed nightclub birthday party as if covid doesn’t exist.’
Earlier in the year, Cardi famously admitted she was terrified of getting Covid-19 in a video moment which became a viral meme.
