Caprice Bourret has reposted a series of nude photos on Instagram to ‘instigate more talk’ about the Russia-Ukraine war.

The model, 50, had shared a series of naked photos in which she had the words ‘FU war’ painted on her chest and back, with her holding her middle fingers up in some of the frames.

She had originally shared the photos a day earlier but they had been taken down by Instagram, leading her to repost them with her middle fingers blurred out.

Caprice told her followers: ‘Yesterday I posted these pics and Instagram took them down. Today I have reposted.

‘I feel very strongly about the messaging and my freedom of speech which was provoked. These pics are provocative which I have modified today and the messaging very strong.

‘Clearly I did this on purpose to instigate more talk. Society has this powerful platform to communicate to the world , promote peace and putting increasing pressure on those who are making decisions on our behalf.

‘With internet and socials, we are blessed with freedom of speech so we could form our own perspective and opinions.’

She added: ‘Furthermore, on a humanitarian level it is heartbreaking ,some of the most horrific images I have ever seen. The evil and lack of human regard is discusting (sic) and so very sad. But if you look at history, this is very scary and can implicate all of us on multiple levels.

‘We the people including those who are bravely demonstrating in Russia, risking getting 15 years jail time, to stop this senseless war. We all don’t want war, we want peace!!!! #nowar #wewantpeace #letskeeptalking #prayforpeace.’

Caprice had earlier shared photos of her dropping off large bags of donations to help the refugees fleeing Ukraine, filled with essentials to help those fleeing the conflict as shelling from Russia continues.

She added: ‘Lots of love and support today at The Ukrainian House… went shopping for much needed supplies to help the people of Ukraine…. #nomorewar #theworldwantspeace.’
