Britney Spears makes desperate plea to police after being pulled over

After getting pulled over in her automobile in Los Angeles, Britney Spears made a very relatable comment, which was recorded on tape.

The 41-year-old man Oops!…On October 5, the I Did It Again singer was pulled over for drifting across double lines near her Thousand Oaks, California property.

Britney was quick to inform the officer she needed to use the bathroom after being pulled over for a traffic infraction.

Footage from the officer’s bodycam showed her telling him: ‘I’m so sorry, I have to use the bathroom.’

In the video, obtained by TMZ, Britney added: ‘It’s about to come out right now. Sorry, my house is right there.’

The officer said that he was not trying to pull Britney over on purpose, but was searching for drivers who were speeding or over double yellow lines.

He gave her a citation for crossing double yellow lines and told her she was free to go.

Crossing solid double yellow lines on the road is forbidden in California unless you’re turning left at a junction, turning into or out of a private road or driveway, driving in a carpool lane, or have been advised to do so by construction workers.

Britney had been fined a month earlier, on September 10, for driving without a licence and proof of insurance during a traffic stop by police.

The celebrity singer was pulled over by California Highway Patrol authorities and given an infraction for not having a valid driver’s licence in her hands.

Britney was also unable to produce proof of insurance to an officer.

Britney’s attorney Mathew Rosengart said in response: ‘Britney at all times had a licence and insurance.’

He added to Page Six: ‘This is the functional equivalent of a parking ticket.’

According to court records acquired by the site, the Toxic crooner was fined $1,140 (£927) for the two minor breaches.

Britney has had a busy couple of weeks, having launched her much-anticipated memoir The Woman In Me earlier this month.

The shocking book, which was released on October 24, revealed everything from her public breakdown to her thirteen-year conservatorship and high-profile connection with Justin Timberlake.

The Woman In Me was an instant hit, rocketing to the top of Amazon’s best sellers list upon its debut.
