Sam is believed to have ‘filed for divorce’ after the couple divorced 14 months ago, according to reports this week.
On July 31, Sam shared a selfie of himself with his mother Fatima, who had recently been in a ‘accident.’
His left ring finger was clearly bare as he hugged his mother, whom he assured fans was “doing OK.”
He also added: ‘Moments like these remind us of life’s preciousness. Taking a social media break to prioritize what truly matters.’
Sam hasn’t shared anything personal since, and he hasn’t commented on the rumoured breakup and divorce.
Britney and Sam met on the set of the 41-year-old’s Slumber Party music video in 2016, where they hit it off.
The 29-year-old dancer stood by the pop queen during her arduous conservatorship struggle, which ended in April last year after 13 years.
A source close to the model, actress, and dancer who was not permitted to talk publicly confirmed the divorce petition to the Associated Press late Wednesday.
According to TMZ, insiders claimed that they had a string of arguments concerning allegations of cheating, with the dancer moving out.
According to the tabloid, Sam filed paperwork citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the basis for their divorce and listing July 28 as the date of their separation.
According to Page Six, he has threatened to make “very embarrassing” information about Britney public unless their prenuptial agreement is amended as a result of the “divorce.”
Meanwhile, the Circus singer has not commented on the news, but she did disclose on Instagram that she is thinking about getting a horse but is having difficulties picking between two.
After marriages to Jason Alexander and Kevin Federline, Sam is the mother-of-two’s third spouse.
