Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have divorced after a six-year romance and one-year marriage, and their relationship is thought to be deteriorating.
The pop diva, 41, hadn’t acknowledged the divorce until Monday, when she said she couldn’t ‘handle the anguish any longer.’
Sam, a dancer and model, previously stated that he and Britney will ‘hang onto the love and respect’ they had for one other despite their divorce.
He then added, ‘Sh*t happens,’ before asking for the media to be ‘kind and thoughtful’.
The couple split over three weeks ago, according to court paperwork filed on Wednesday, citing “irreconcilable issues.”
Now, TMZ reports sources have claimed the two are not speaking, and haven’t since things ‘got really nasty’ and Sam ‘left their home’.
‘From here on out, we’re told all communication, negotiations and any other business to be handled between the two will be done by their legal teams,’ the publication continued.
According to sources, Sam has made a number of charges against Britney after their breakup, including that she gave him a black eye and cheated with a member of their home staff.
This follows reports that Sam ‘threatened’ to reveal humiliating material about Britney unless their prenuptial agreement, which he signed last year, is amended.

According to a dissolution of marriage case filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court and obtained by the BBC, Sam has requested that Britney pay spousal maintenance and solicitors’ expenses.
A recent report from TMZ claims sources say their prenup – signed last year – entitles Sam to nothing in the event of divorce.
Sources added that the prenup also ‘precludes him from getting spousal support’. They also claim he can ‘keep the gifts Britney gave him and his cars, but that’s about it.’
They met on the set of Britney’s Slumber Party music video in 2016, and they married last year following a protracted struggle to remove Britney from conservatorship.
