The footage from Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s (frankly iconic) wedding keeps coming.
Britney 40, married actor Sam, 28, at her home in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles, after getting engaged in September 2021.
There was a star-studded guest list, with the likes of Selena Gomez, Donatella Versace and Paris Hilton in attendance.
In a new clip shared on social media on Saturday, the Toxic hitmaker gave fans another glimpse at what it was like to celebrate with her famous friends, including a clip featuring Madonna.
The popstar is seen smooching and dancing with her new husband, in her elegant wedding gown and getting close to Madonna for a little ‘Like a Virgin’ fun in a series of wedding reception videos posted to her Instagram this weekend.
The singers, who have been closer pals since they collaborated for Britney’s In The Zone album, can be seen thoroughly enjoying themselves as they dance to Madonna’s popular hit.
It wasn’t the first iconic moment the duo had on the big day. The evening even included a recreation of the iconic Madonna VMAs kiss.
Britney and Sam officially married six years after meeting on the set of Britney’s Slumper Party music video, and their big day was quite the fairytale.
Britney looked ever the glowing bride in her off-the-shoulder white Versace dress while Sam opted for a tuxedo from the Italian label. The star-studded guests included Paris Hilton, Drew Barrymore, and Selena Gomez as well as the Papa Don’t Preach icon.
However, Britney’s family members were noticeably absent.
It’s believed that the pop star did not invite her mum Lynne (who appears to have sent well wishes in a since-deleted comment), father Jamie Spears and sister Jamie Lynn Spears to the nuptials, due to being estranged from them over her controversial conservatorship.
Also missing from the wedding were Britney’s sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, who she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
The day didn’t go off quite without a hitch as Britney’s first ex-husband Jason Alexander attempted to crash the nuptials while livestreaming.
However, the event didn’t spoil the day, as the happy couple both looked absolutely radiant in various snaps of the joyful occasion.
