The 72-year-old English actress, best known for her role as Bond girl Solitaire in the 1973 film Live and Let Die, has been married four times but has lately chosen to give casual relationships a chance.

And Seymour, whose first marriage began in 1971 and ended in 2015, has boldly remarked that it might be one of the finest decisions she has ever made.

The Wedding Crashers actress has acknowledged to spending the previous few years ‘happily alone, not excitedly hunting’ for another major commitment or planning a fifth marriage.

‘When [Zambetti] and I first met, he was encountering me as someone who was happily alone, not eagerly looking. I was at my happiest, surrounded by friends and family,’ she wrote in Cosmopolitan’s Sex After 60 column.

Speaking about musician Zambetti, 73, she continued: ‘[My sex life] right now is more wonderful and passionate than anything I ever remember because it is built on trust, love, and experience.

‘John was immediately exposed to who I really am. And so despite my active disinterest in romance at the time, he still appreciated me and the privilege it was to see my life.’

Seymour then went on to say that she feels both ’16 years old and experienced’ when she and her guitarist partner of five months are intimate together, adding that she ‘actually means’ the glowing reports she’s giving.

She continued: ‘When there is love and intimacy, as well as a desire to find pleasure for your partner and pleasure for yourself and you can make that all happen in unison, it’s magic. Absolute magic, no matter what form it takes.’

In October 2023, shortly after the two met, Seymour exclaimed that she’d ‘never been happy’ than today, with Zambetti having a significant role in her present contentment.

It follows the Somewhere In Time actress’s embrace of her sexuality in her twilight years, which began in February 2018 when she became the oldest woman ever shot by Playboy at the age of 67.

Seymour initially married Michael Attenborough in 1971, then his buddy Geoffrey Planer in 1977, David Flynn in 1981, and James Keach in 1993, before divorcing nine years later.

She has four children from her four marriages: daughter Katherine (41), son Sean (38), who she shares with Flynn, and twin sons with Keach (28).
