Bodycam footage shows medics fighting to save Jeremy Renner’s life at scene of snowplough crush

Bodycam video from the terrible snowplough crush that injured Jeremy Renner shows medical personnel treating the actor on the spot.

Jeremy, 52, was gravely hurt on New Year’s Day and broke more than 30 bones as a consequence of being hit by and “pulled under” the car. He is lucky to be alive.

The Hawkeye actor was in the hospital for less than three weeks before miraculously recovering and being able to make public appearances and share his near-death experience in interviews that are both emotional and moving.

Police bodycam footage from the horrifying incident shows Jeremy on the ground as doctors struggle to save his life.

He was hurt while attempting to save his nephew, but the first five emergency personnel moved immediately to stabilise him.

There is a sizable pool of blood from the snowplough’s impact next to the Marvel actor.

As they waited for the helicopter to come, the medics carried Jeremy into an ambulance before he was transported to the hospital and sent to critical care.

At this point, it is clear that Jeremy suffered several shattered bones in addition to a collapsed lung, a pierced liver, and even a protruding eye.

The star’s nephew was there on the site and can be seen in the video detailing what occurred to the police, including how he got dragged under the snowplough’s tread while attempting to climb back into the cap to prevent it from running over his nephew.

The cops present react in shock upon hearing of Jeremy’s courageous, heroic gesture.

Speaking after his discharge from hospital, Jeremy insisted he had no regrets about what he did, despite how hurt he got.

During an interview with Diane Sawyer, the star insisted: ‘I’d do it again. Because it was going right at my nephew.

‘I chose to survive. You’re not going to kill me. No way.’

He also disclosed on the TV special that he was awake for “every moment” of the accident.

Jeremy’s nephew related his own memory and said that he believed his uncle had perished beneath the plough.

‘I just perfectly see him in a pool of blood coming from his head,’ he recalled. ‘I ran up to him. I didn’t think he was alive.’

In the midst of his remarkable recovery, the actor not only accomplished a personal goal by walking his first red carpet, but also paid a visit to the physicians who rescued him.

When Jeremy visited Renown Regional Medical Centre in Reno last week, the employees welcomed him with open arms and put up a “welcome back” banner in his honour.

Sharing the sweet full-circle moment on Instagram, he wrote alongside a photo of him with hospital staff: ‘I got to revisit the amazing group of people who saved my life,’ followed by several praying hands and red heart emoji.

He shared another image of himself grinning next to a surgeon along with the simple message, “Thank you.”

Jeremy also stood with his cane in front of the hospital’s sign outside.
