When Beyonce gifted a fan her sunglasses on tour, she not only gave him a moment to last a lifetime, but he also just scooped a fairly nice monetary award for the trendy item.

The Break My Soul singer, 41, fulfilled a fan’s wish when she flung her Gucci sunglasses into the audience at her Renaissance tour event in London last month while playing Diva.

She had planned to toss them to Global Valentino, real name Valentino Rodrigues, but it caused a bit of a commotion, so security was called in. The filmmaker, on the other hand, managed to retain a firm grasp on the shades and, fortunately, took them home.

Valentino decided to put the custom-made Off-White sunglasses up for sale through Omega Auctions after they went popular on social media, and they were selling for up to £15,000.

Valentino managed to sell for an eye-watering £14k by the time the auction finished on July 4.

Valentino’s most recent video captures his response as the auctioneer takes bids in real time.

When the metaphorical gavel fell, the boy smiled proudly and gave the camera a thumbs up.

‘Thank you guys, £14,000! Woah, that’s insane. That’s really insane,’ he told viewers.

Valentino then gave Queen Bey a direct message and said: ‘First of all, I’m really grateful to you Beyonce for coming into my life and touching me in this way. I feel like I’ve got her blessing with my career and this is seriously once in a lifetime opportunity and I’m never going to forget it so thank you.’

Despite losing out on the opportunity to purchase the spectacles themselves, Valentino’s fans were thrilled with the sale and expressed their gratitude.

‘Bro just made the easiest bag of his life from going to a concert props,’ one commented while another agreed: ‘Congratulations!!! i know bey is happy for you.’

Others, though, believed Valentino would have made a larger profit if he had kept the sunglasses a little longer.

‘Mate keep it and let it accumulate value when she retires do you know how much those would go for????’ one suggested.

Another follower also warned him: ‘I really do love this for you but I just know the TAX on that will be insane!!’

Beyonce’s Renaissance tour is presently on hiatus, but it will resume on July 8 in Toronto, Canada, before heading to the United States.
