Natasha Hamilton, a member of Atomic Kitten, is giving her fifth kid a feline-inspired name.
The music artist and her husband, Charles Gay, are expecting a baby girl any day now.
Natasha, 41, is already a mother to Josh, 20, Harry, 18, Alfie, 13, and Ella, 8, from previous relationships, but this will be her first child with the fashion business director.
In a touching homage, the couple want to name their daughter after their grandmothers.
The singer revealed the unusual moniker in an interview with OK! Magazine.
‘We’re going to call her Kitty Iris Gay,’ she shared.
But don’t start making it weird, ok? She’s not already trying to form an Atomic Kitten tribute band.
‘Kitty has nothing to do with the band!’, she explained. ‘My grandmother was Kitty and Charles’s grandmother was Iris and we just loved those names together.
‘They’re quite old-fashioned but there’s also a newness to them – they’re unusual and so cute.’
Highlighting the connection between Kitty’s name and that of her daughter Ella, the Whole Again hitmaker added: ‘Also, Ella is Ella Rose and I liked that both girls would have flowers as their middle names.
‘When we came up with Kitty Iris, we didn’t even consider anything else.’
Natasha feels her family will be complete once Kitty comes.
‘Oh yeah, we are done!’ she jokingly stated.
‘I love having a big family, but five is a big number and we want to have time to do all the nice things we love doing. So yes, Kitty is definitely going to be the last!’
Natasha, 37, and Charles, 37, began dating in 2016 and plan to marry in Lake Como, Italy, in 2021.
She and Charles revealed their’miracle’ pregnancy in February of this year.
They did so with a charming film montage uploaded on social media that depicted her and Charles’s friendship over the years, their wedding, and the moment they discovered they were expecting.

Natasha’s increasing baby belly was also chronicled, as were her unusual appetites, which included pickled onions!
Natasha – who rose to fame in the 90s/00s – wrote in her caption: ‘7 years of loving you… 17 months of marriage.
‘We finally got our little miracle.
‘We really couldn’t be any happier.’
Their bundle of joy is due in next month.
