Ashley Olsen casually takes hike with machete, drink, and boyfriend in tow

Ashley Olsen has been snapped hiking and clutching a machete and cold beverage for the adventure.

You know, just the essentials.

The fashion designer tends to keep her personal life out of the spotlight, with her artist boyfriend Louis Eisner rarely sharing snaps of her.

In the new photo, the 35-year-old can be seen looking straight forward, rocking a casual look as she enjoyed the hike.

Donning sunnies, Ashley clutched a beverage in one hand and a machete in the other.

Louis, 32, also shared a snap of himself posing on a log as the couple enjoyed their day in nature.

Ashley and Louis are thought to have started dating in 2017 after being friends for years.

They’ve only been photographed out together a handful of times, including earlier this year when they enjoyed a date night in New York City, masking up amid the pandemic.

Ashley’s previously been linked to football star Matt Kaplan and actor Justin Bartha.

The star has also been supporting her sister Mary-Kate while she was amid her divorce with Olivier Sarkozy, which was finalised in January this year.

During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in New York City, Mary-Kate was thought to be isolating with her twin and a group of friends during her ‘heated’ divorce drama.

The younger Olsen twin filed for divorce from Olivier, 50, in April last year.

Mary-Kate and Olivier – the half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy – tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in New York in November 2015 after three years of dating.

She kept her relationship private but in 2017, she told Net-A-Porter’s The Edit: ‘I think [me and Ashley are] lucky [working hard] comes quite naturally for us. We don’t need so much time to sit and think and ponder.

‘But then I have a husband, two step-kids and a life; I have to go home and cook dinner. I run on the weekend. You find the thing that helps you relax and if you don’t have it, you have to look for it. Or you get burned out and then you’re not productive.’
