This week, Alison Hammond invited The Speakmans to her house, where the trio had a swim in the popular presenter’s lavish hot tub.
The 48-year-old TV personality looked stunning in a bright red bikini while sipping a drink with life counsellors Nik and Eva, who frequently feature on the show.
On Tuesday, the Speakmans posted on social media about their good night at Alison’s, praising their host for a fantastic evening.
Nik and Eva, who recently appeared on Channel 4’s Celebrity Hunted, shared a snap of themselves kicking back in Alison’s hot tub and captioned the picture: ‘Sorry you couldn’t join us for a cocktail in Alison’s hot tub @hunted_hq!
‘We had a great time! Thanks so much for looking after us @alisonhammond55, we love you.’
Alison liked the shot, while Bobby Seagull praised The Speakmans on their Celebrity Hunted triumph, commenting, ‘Well done for surviving another week!’
Alison’s peaceful evening comes after the announcement that she will replace Matt Lucas on the upcoming season of Great British Bake Off.
Despite her years of expertise, Alison said that she had to apply for the position.
‘They made me interview random strangers, to obviously see if I’m good with different people,’ she recalled.
‘It was a weird audition,’ she added when speaking to The Sun.
Alison was instructed she had three weeks to keep the position a secret, but she ended up informing her 18-year-old son Aidan.
‘Can you believe I couldn’t tell anybody?’ she added.
‘You know what my mouth is like.’
GBBO showrunner and executive producer Richard McKerrow disclosed what the team was searching for in Matt’s replacement in the tent in February of this year.
He stated that they were searching for someone who would ‘look after the bakers during their experience, be inquisitive about what they’re baking, and do it with charm, humour, and kindness’.
