Lizzo took a break from her Glasgow gig to assist a fan in proposing to his lover.
The Truth Hurts singer, real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson, sold out the city’s OVO Hydro venue on Wednesday night and was more than willing to pause her performance to assist a fan in the audience in proposing to his boyfriend.
The Grammy winner, 34, noticed a concertgoer holding their phone up with the message: ‘Ask my brother’s boyfriend to marry him.’
Lizzo then put the microphone in front of the man and he said: ‘Will you marry me?’
Amid cheers from the crowd, he added: ‘For the love of god, just say yes.’
‘What do you say?’ Lizzo enthused.
Ryan, a superfan, nodded as the audience erupted. ‘Let me get a f*****g yeah,’ yelled the Juice guitarist, joking that ‘the dude was too astonished to speak.’
We’re hoping Lizzo will be able to attend the wedding!
Lizzo revealed she was officially off the market in April of last year, but nothing was known about her and Myke’s relationship at the time.
