Adam Thomas will be dancing on Strictly Come Dancing shortly, and his proud brother Ryan Thomas believes his rheumatoid arthritis will not hinder him.
The Waterloo actor was diagnosed with the incurable condition earlier this year, which causes pain, swelling, and stiffness in the joints, which may make things ‘difficult,’ but he has a lot of support from his family.
When Ryan, 39, was asked how Adam, 35, was dealing with his new job and sickness, he answered, ‘He’s doing everything with a grin on his face.’
He added: ‘He loves a challenge and as a family, we’re really, really proud of him and we’ll be with him until the very end.’
Although the 2023 season has yet to begin, speculation over who will win the glitterball has already begun.
Big Brother winner Ryan gave a diplomatic answer: ‘He’s gonna try his very hardest and he’s gonna enjoy every minute of it. That’s all you can ask from somebody.
‘As long as he challenges himself and he’s enjoying it, that’s all we want and all we can ask as a family.’
He then began canvasing for votes by concluding with a ‘Vote for Adam Thomas!’
Adam was with Naomi Campbell at the Pretty Little Thing event in New York to support his closest friend, CEO Umar Kamani, who was also there.
‘We’re from Manchester and we’re just normal, regular guys. We shouldn’t even be here and the fact that we can share this together as a family, as friends, is a really special moment,’ he proudly shared.
He’ll need to return home as soon as possible because Strictly begins on September 16th, and we’re sure Adam will want Ryan in the crowd.
Although we don’t yet know who he’ll be paired with, his co-star Bobby Brazier seemed to provide a fairly major hint.
Bobby and Dianne Buswell’s connection at Tuesday’s NTAs will no doubt fuel conjecture that they’ll be dancing together this season.
Following Bobby’s award triumph at the ceremony, Dianne, 34, was spotted heading up to the EastEnders actor and his father Jeff Brazier for a conversation. Dianne looked stunning in a green gown at the glittering celebration.
Furthermore, Dianne and Bobby had a brief boogie together, both bouncing their hips about in each other’s presence.
According to common height hypothesis, Adam will be with Luba Mushtuk.
As the class’s tallest members, Adam, 34, who stands at 5’11, and 5’7 Luba, 33, may be a dance match made in heaven.
After previously working with athletes such as Olympic rowing champion James Cracknell OBE and American football star Jason Bell, might a Waterloo Road actor be the one to ultimately land her the coveted Glitterball?
