You can be one of Hollywood’s toughest action actors, but that won’t stop you from getting into the full swing (and costume) over Easter weekend.
At least, according to Jason Statham, who was recorded running about his lawn in full Easter Bunny costume while being chased by children.
His fiancée, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, caught the surprise – and perhaps alarming – change on tape as they joined other celebs in festive fun.
The 35-year-old revealed proof of her 55-year-old partner’s Easter Sunday larks on Instagram Stories, as the Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre star delighted the youngsters in the group, including their five-year-old son, Jack.
‘Get it Jack, get him!’ was heard being shouted across the garden as rabbit Jason rounded the hedge, being chased by the kids, much to the delight of a chuckling Rosie.
‘Happy Easter,’ she captioned the first clip with a rabbit emoji, before moving to a laugh-crying emoji for the second as the Easter Bunny could be seen tearing across the lawn.
‘Daddy!’ was then cried triumphantly by Jack as the Easter Bunny was finally caught by the keen chocolate-hunting kids.
Later, Rosie gave a close-up of Jason, who was still dressed up, as he climbed up to the adults’ table on the patio, while Jack questioned him about what we assume were further Easter eggs, asking, ‘Daddy, is there still more?’
The Expendables actor and producer performed admirably as a nonverbal rabbit, just shrugging with his paws up in response.
Rosie and Jason spend the most of their time in Los Angeles, where they live, but they like returning to the UK for some English rural air when they can.
Last February, they welcomed their second child, 14-month-old Isabella.
Jason seldom appears on Rosie’s social media sites, despite the fact that the couple has been engaged since 2016. (dressing up days excepted, of course).
Last March, she uploaded a brief snapshot of the two of them in the back of a car while also revealing a portion of newborn Isabella’s face.
