Being a new mom may be taxing, but Jessie J demonstrated that there is still time and energy for Barbie by dressing up to attend the film.
The Price Tag singer, real name Jessie Cornish, dazzled in a teal bikini – in between shots of her passed out resting with new baby Sky.
The first-time mother has been sharing her everyday difficulties and triumphs with her 13.5 million Instagram followers.
Jessie uploaded a video of herself getting ready for the Barbie movie in a pink bra and matching sweatpants, doing cosmetics before leaving.
She flawlessly embodied the Barbie feel as she danced around to FIFTY FIFTY’s Barbie Dreams, shimmying her bosom towards the camera.
Fans saw the 35-year-old wearing a gold necklace with three letters showing, sweetly spelling out her baby boy’s name.
Keeping it real, the Domino singer wrote: ’10 week postpartum Barbie, never serious Barbie, chipped tooth Barbie,🥛boobs Barbie, will she ever put new music out Barbie, always wears black Barbie.’
We’re loving Jessie’s mum Barbie era and clearly fans were too with Rosie Nixon saying: ‘Beautiful Barbie 💖’.
A fan wrote: ‘You are beautiful… And I just love how real honest and amazing you are… 😍😍😍 Being a new mum n juggling life and partner and baby and everything else in-between is hard and you’re doing amazing.’
‘And this is why we all love Jessie ❤️,’ added another, while a third shared: ‘Thanks for putting a smile on my face this mornin! You look fab 🙌🫶.’
Jessie went on to say that she ‘liked’ the Barbie movie, which has made pink the colour of the summer and is expected to make over $95 million (£74 million).
The film is being hailed as a “feminist dream” and an inspiring picture for people of all gender identities.
Jessie clearly deserves a night at the movies at 10 weeks postpartum, albeit she chose a gorgeous black leather-look attire over the pink uniform of other Barbie attendees.
Her pink bra and joggers, though, were more than Barbie enough, and she did wear a whole pink dress at Wimbledon, so we’ll pardon the Oppenheimer-coded ensemble.
The chart-topper and her partner Chanan Safir Colman welcomed Sky into the world in May.
She has been brutally honest about her experiences as a new mother, disclosing her breast pumping regimen and an open essay about her body difficulties.
Barbie is the ideal pick for a new mother – or anybody – who wants to get glammed up and go to the movies.
